Genuine Aprilia Cam Chain Tensioner, part number 1A0047846, item number 12 in the diagram.

This part is used on the front and rear cylinder banks to adjust the cam chain tension. It is operated via oil pressure and so your chain may rattle for a second or 2 and then disappear when you start your engine from cold. If your chain continues to rattle, it's a good indication that either the seal is faulty or your cam chain adjuster itself.
