Genuine Rotax clutch friction plates for the V990 engine, part number AP8106634, item 5 in the diagram. These are a direct replacement to the OEM ones fitted by Aprilia in the factory.
The kit consists of 9 plates but unfortunately no steels. If you require the steels, please contact us preferably via email, and we will be able to get them ordered if we don't have any in stock. We highly recommend soaking your new friction plates in engine oil to prevent them from seizing during their initial break in.
When you pull the clutch lever in, that action causes the compressed springs on the pressure plate to retract which in turn means the friction and steel plates which are being forced together, separate and begin to rotate independently, disconnecting the engine from the transmission system.
